ICIEA2021 Special Session on Model predictive control for power converters
Session Organizers: Yong Yang and Huiqing Wen
CALL FOR PAPERS
In recent years, with the technological advancements in digital signal processors (DSP), the model predictive control (MPC) has emerged as a simple and promising digital control tool in power electronics, variable-speed motor drives, and energy conversion systems. MPC is a nonlinear control and can provide a number of advantages: very intuitive approach, no need for linear controllers and modulators, simple inclusion of nonlinearities and restrictions, etc.
The objective of this session is to provide a forum for researchers to discuss research work related to emerging technologies that are related to MPC methods. Original innovative research papers addressing the following technology areas and their potential applications are invited:
• New model predictive control (MPC) methods for electrical drives and power convertersg
• Model predictive control for power system, micro-grids, other energy conversion systems, etc.
• Robust model predictive control solutions
Submissions:
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format by the submission deadline.
Special Session Organizers:
Yong Yang (Soochow University)
Huiqing Wen (Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University)
